Service Administrator

Reports to: Service Manager
Direct reports: 0
Location: Keighley/Stourbridge/Glasgow

Overview

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Service Administrator is responsible for providing accurate and timely administrative support to the Service Team. Holding joint responsibility for ensuring customer expectations are exceeded, this is a key role within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with the Regional Service Manager to book customer visits and dealing with queries
  • Planning routine service work
  • Ensuring all administration associated with customer visits is completed, including recording jobs on the appropriate systems, issuing job sheets, checking work reports and invoicing
  • Liaising with Service Engineers to ensure diaries are up to date
  • Fling job reports and analysing reports for relevant information
  • Routine spares reviews and notification

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork
  • Computer literate

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role

Pipefitter Welder

Reports to: Production Foreman
Direct reports: 0
Location: Keighley/Mobile

Overview

Working as part of a team, and split between the Keighley based manufacturing plant and customer sites, this role will be responsible for all aspects of providing a first class pipefitting operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Covering steam, hot water and industrial production and processing systems, the role will be responsible for the lay out, assembly and installation of the following:
    – Pipework systems
    – Pipe supports
    – Related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Interpret drawings and plans when necessary
  • Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines
  • Ensure materials and supplies are ordered, liaising with internal and external suppliers as necessary

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Experience with both threaded and welded pipework, ranging from ½’’ to 8’’ in diameter
  • Be a competent MMA welder (coding preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of H&S requirements
  • Highly motivated and able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • A background in industrial boilers and associated boiler house equipment/ ancillaries.
  • Relevant safety training/ competency cards- ie CSCS, PAL, PASMA
  • Experience of both welded and screwed pipework,
  • Experience in fabrication of mild and stainless steel components

Industrial Boiler Service Engineer

Ideally with oil and gas combustion experience to service & commission hire boilers throughout the UK.


Boiler Engineer

Reports to: Hire Yard Foreman

Overview

This role is for a mechanical engineer/fitter/maintenance technician to join our growing team to assist with the service, repair and preparation of our expanding fleet of industrial steam and hot water hire boilers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team to prepare boilers for annual service inspections and 5 year NDT inspections by mechanically stripping down the units
  • Repairing and refurbishing the fleet of mobile hire boilers when required
  • Preparing boilers for hire with bespoke customer requirements and associated equipment

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

  • Competent mechanical fitter/engineer/technician with industry experience (Boiler experience not compulsory)
  • Good working knowledge of H&S requirements
  • Highly motivated and able to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Desirable

  • A background in industrial boilers and associated boiler house equipment/ ancillaries.
