Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Service Administrator to join our growing Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a busy, agile team operating in a strategically important area of the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our service operations by preparing quotations, developing service contract proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and producing professional contract documentation for customers. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering exceptional attention to detail.

 We will consider part-time candidates, hours and salary to be discussed and agreed.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue service quotations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Build, develop and maintain service contract proposals and renewals.
  • Support the negotiation of contract terms and commercial agreements with customers.
  • Produce and manage service contract documentation and associated records.
  • Liaise with customers via telephone and email, providing a professional and responsive service.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure quotations and contracts meet customer and business requirements.
  • Monitor contract opportunities and support business growth initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.
  • Assist with general administration activities within the Service Department as required.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally via email and telephone.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, or service-based environment.

 The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and an appreciation of customer and business needs. Be adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working within a dynamic environment and take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.

What We Offer:

  • Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 08.15 – 17.00, Fridays 08.15 – 14.00.
  • £24,500 - £26,000 Per Annum – Depending on experience.
  • Annual Leave: 22 days, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 3 years of service)

Overview

As Byworth Boilers continues to grow, we are recruiting for a hardworking and proactive MIG Welder to join our established yet growing team, on a permanent basis. The individual will play a significant role in supporting the department productivity and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Role Responsibilities

 This is a key process within the manufacturing process and requires excellent attention to detail and teamwork. Responsibilities include:

  • Mig welding
  • Jig work
  • Maintaining high levels of health and safety at all times

Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to work without direct supervision and quality check own work
  • A strong team player with a “can-do” attitude and proactive approach to work

The Package

  • Salary: Hourly - Paid Weekly - £14.00 - £14.50
  • Hours: Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 07.00 – 17.00 – 4 DAY WORKING WEEK
  • 22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 3 years of service)

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machine Operative to join our growing team, on a permanent basis, based in Keighley, West Yorkshire.  

Role Responsibilities:

 This role includes running Plasma Cutters and Milling Machines.

Machines include - Metal Master, Omnimat Plasma Machines and Asquith, Haas Milling Machines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Machine Operating.
  • Quality checking.
  • Safe use of lifting equipment moving large plates on and off machine bed.
  • Always observe and comply with health & safety requirements.
  • Maintain tidiness in the workplace and high standards of housekeeping at all times.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
