Byworth Boilers is proud to announce we have won a further award.

BUILD (the go-to resource for construction industry CEOs, independent & sub-contractors, architects and equipment suppliers) has created the Build Awards which are dedicated to uncovering and rewarding the very best in technical innovation, design, and service from across the global construction and property industries.

Byworth entered into BUILD’s Construction & Engineering Awards and we have come top of our category to take home:

‘Best Industrial Boiler Manufacturer – UK.’

The second accolade this year bestowed to Byworth, it follows the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation we received back in April.

And we think we know why we won – The winners story…

Let’s start at the beginning, the very beginning.

Byworth was founded in 1968 by Dennis Baldwin. Dennis was a customer of steam, he used it in his business process to grow Chrysanthemums. However, he struggled to find a product that gave him the solution to his true requirements, and it was then that his mind was made up – he decided he was going to build his own product – a product for him – a product for the customer!

With a keen eye for innovation, precision, advanced quality and effective use of steam, Dennis began to build his own bespoke boiler…meeting the demand of his own needs.
These values still remain today whereby Byworth produce solutions that fit the customer’s requirements, never offering a ‘one size’ fits all.

We know the challenges organisations often face, and our team of experts allow us to work in partnership with companies delivering bespoke solutions with constant support for each individual customer.

Fast forward 50 years…

Byworth Boilers understand that it is crucial the customer is getting the right product to meet their needs. This means that if the customer has to be told they need a smaller boiler than they requested, or in some cases, even referring them onto a technology that Byworth Boilers themselves do not produce, we are not afraid to do so. We always have our customers at the heart of everything we do.

Our aim is to be the preferred partner in providing efficient heat solutions. Byworth achieve this through supportive design, British Manufacturing, installation, service and maintenance of the highest quality. It’s all about working with customers to help you achieve your goals. We are very proud to employ highly skilled designers, engineers and extended workforce who have the ability to be flexible during the manufacturing stage, we often build bespoke equipment or adjust a product in order to make it a better fit for the customer’s requirements.

We recognise that buying a boiler is a long-term investment, so it is important that it is as efficient as possible and extremely easy to maintain in order to maximise the investment and product lifecycle. Moving on through 50 years of innovation from those original Dennis Baldwin designs, Byworth have always pushed to be at the forefront of technology and we have turned our attention to looking at improvements in boiler-house control and management to support our new and existing customers.

Our latest innovative equipment Unity, is Byworth’s revolutionary boiler control system, which harnesses the power of digital technology to transform the industrial boiler industry. A solution for any industry using process steam and hot water, Unity makes it easy to understand what is going on with their energy and operations. The system employs the Internet of Things (IoT) and advanced data analytics to systematically change boiler-related operations and services. Its skill is in its capability to significantly reduce cost, improve product and service performance and provide better value to Byworth customers.

Encompassing a range of smart data, predictive tools and engineering proficiency to obtain additional insight, the results will help customers reduce fuel usage, increase operational efficiency and significantly reduce any potential downtime. Delivering a step-change in boiler servicing, Unity helps improve response time as well as enhancing onsite efficiency.

All of its attributes support a vision of providing efficient heat solutions with each partner.

Dennis would be proud of the recent Queen’s Award in innovation we won earlier this year; the highest accolade that can be associated with a business, – this win represents the very nature of the Byworth brand and the story behind it.
