What will your role look like?

 Supporting the hire boiler service department by carrying out:

• Answering incoming telephone calls.

• Coordinating engineer visits, service jobs and customer callouts.

• Liaising with customers to confirm appointments, access details and job requirements.

• Preparing and issuing job sheets, service paperwork and supporting documents.

• Booking accommodation, transport or site access arrangements for engineers.

• Communicating job updates between customers, engineers, drivers and internal teams.

• Update Boiler/ancillary certification data base.

• Helping ensure compliance documents, certificates and log sheets are completed and returned.

• Handling general email inboxes and responding to customer queries professionally.

• Escalating urgent service issues or customer concerns to the appropriate manager.

• Processing weekly timesheets.

• Maintaining accurate records in Outlook, Excel, SharePoint or internal systems.

• Assisting in general administration duties.

The Package:

• Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 – depending on experience.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Install components such as PLCs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks.
• Carry out point-to-point wiring and cable terminations to a high standard.
• Use powered hand tools such as drills, jigsaws, and other workshop equipment for panel cutouts and assembly.
• Input and manage basic production or build data using IT systems where required.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant UK regulations (e.g. BS 7671 and health & safety standards).
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Identify and report any design or build issues to supervisors or engineers.
• Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Essential Skills and Experience:

•  Previous experience as a Panel Wirer or similar electrical assembly role.
