Overview

The Service Co-ordinator is responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of our field service team. Working with a number of other co-ordinators to ensure our customers receive the very best service levels for both planned and reactive callouts. Reporting to the Planning and Despatch Manager, based in our Keighley office.

Responsible For -

•  Reactive, Planned and Commissioning workloads  
• Inbound and outbound customer enquiries 
• General departmental administration 
• Warranty Processing

Specific Duties

• Review and manage engineer schedules, work reports and part requirements. 
• Provide quotations and create follow up visits as required.
• Ensure customer enquiries are delt with in a timely manner and manage their expectations.
• Support with the processing of engineer timesheets.
• Issue RAM’s when required well in advance of the commencement of work.
• Proactively advising customers when routine maintenance is required.
• Work with other departments to support other workstreams such as projects and warranty. 
• Compile reports for both internal and external customers.
• Liaise with suppliers, internal spares team and warehouse to ensure that parts are delivered before engineer's attendance.
• Deal with customer complaints and escalate where appropriate. 

To be successful in this role 

You must be an organised, hardworking individual who enjoys a challenge, works well in a team and on their own. Being part of a dynamic team means you must be able to deal well with change.

You must be computer literate with the ability to quickly adapt to new software packages. A people person, you should have excellent communication skills and preferably have customer service experience dealing with people face to face or by telephone in a fast-paced environment.

Experience of working in an engineering environment is an advantage, but not compulsory. A good working knowledge of current Microsoft 365 packages is essential.

The Package:

• Salary: £26,000 - £28,750
• Hours: Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 08.15 – 17.00. Friday 08.15 - 14.00
• 22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 3 years of service)

Role Responsibilities

 This is a key process within the manufacturing process and requires excellent attention to detail and teamwork. Responsibilities include:

• Mig welding
• Jig work
• Maintaining high levels of health and safety at all times

Role Responsibilities:

 This role includes mechanical fitting up of pipe spools and prefabricated pipework, installation of pipework to boilers and bench assembly work. This role requires excellent attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

•           The use of hand tools & machinery including hand drills, mag drills, grinders, air tools

•           Safe use of lifting equipment for moving and fitting large components

•           Working at heights

•           Safe use of lifting equipment for moving and fitting large components

•           Running copper and mild steel pipework to drawings
